DR HEIDI MUMME

FACILITATOR/RESEARCHER

Heidi has 20 years of expertise working in the aquaculture and seafood industries. Heidi has predominantly worked within the Pearling and Salmon industries.

Her roles have included hatchery, growout, research and development, project management. More recently her roles have included quality, health, safety and environmental systems management.

Heidi has formal qualifications in:

Heidi has a doctorate in pearl oyster cellular biology.

Heidi is currently the Vice President of WISA (Women in Seafood Australasia), a national organisation who is dedicated to representing and promoting women in all facets of the seafood industry. She is also the Deputy Chair of the FRDC’s Northern Territory Research Advisory Committee.
