NATIONAL SEAFOOD INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

2022

Announcing the 2022 NSILP Participant

The National Seafood Industry Leadership Program (NSILP) is the only national industry-specific leadership program designed in consultation with seafood industry people for people wishing to take up leadership roles within the seafood industry.


Two programs will be delivered in 2022. Affectus will be delivering an In-Person program which will follow the same structure as all previous programs.


BUT...

As a direct result of the success of the partial delivery of NSILP online throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Affectus is offering a fully On-line NSILP.

2022 In-Person NSILP Information

The 2022 In-Person NSILP will be delivered using the same format as previous programs. As a successful participant you will be expected to attend in full all of the following program sessions.

It should be noted successful participants will need to be flexible regarding dates and location of residentials due to the potential impacts of COVID-19.

2022 Online NSILP Information

The 2022 Online NSILP will be delivered by Affectus.

The Online program has been developed using the original winning NSILP framework but has been adjusted to appeal to participants who find it challenging to travel away.

Be a pioneer and participate in the NSILP in a new way. Participants will experience the same knowledge, networking, skill development and industry exposure.


Dates are set and participant attendance at all sessions is required.

The program encourages all sectors of the industry. These industries are included in our participant groups this year:

  • Indigenous/traditional fishers
  • recreational fishers
  • aquaculturists
  • commercial fisherspeople involved in the supply and value chain of the Australian seafood industry

NSILP graduates have gone on to apply their skills to a wide variety of areas including:
